Development Consultant

Hannah Pinney

Hannah is delighted to be working with Friends of the Vox, combining her passion for choral music with her professional career.

After graduating with a Masters Degree in “Science, Technology & Medicine in History” from King’s College London in 2015, Hannah worked in the education sector, initially in events management before moving into alumni relations and fundraising. She has spent the last four years as Head of Alumni and Development at Ashford School, where she was responsible for all aspects of the department, from its communication and engagement strategy to fundraising and stewardship.

Music, and singing in particular, has always been an integral part of Hannah’s life, and so when an opportunity came to make music central to her career she jumped at the chance.

Hannah now has a busy portfolio career, working with Owain Park and The Gesualdo Six, as well as for Vox Anima London. She also has several marketing & business development clients who she supports.

Alongside this, Hannah studies voice with James and sings in one of our core choirs - Vox Anima Chamber Choir.

Hannah is passionate about widening participation and fostering engagement within music, and is delighted to be working to achieve this goal through Friends of the Vox. She looks forward to uniting her professional experience with her passion for choral singing.
