Gloria!
In celebration of Sir Karl Jenkins' 80th birthday, Friends of the Vox Artistic Director, Maestro James Meaders brings together the voices of his three choirs - Hurst Green Singers, Vox Populi, and Vox Anima Chamber Choir.
The festival choir will perform Jenkins' Gloria, accompanied by a large orchestra, alongside other works by Mozart, Sorenson, Forrest, Friends of the Vox Emerging Composer 2024 winner Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk, and culminating in a wonderful and seasonal finale of two carols arranged by Taylor Scott Davis.

Upper Voices Festival Concert
Join us for the culmination of our Upper Voices Festival, with our informal concert held at St Peter’s Eaton Square. The concert will also feature a solo set from our core choir, Vox Anima Chamber Choir. Repertoire will include the World Premiere of “O Oriens” by Anna Roclawska-Musialczyk alongside music by Sarah Quartel, Eleanor Daley, Kim André Arnesen, and more! Ticket donations welcome on the door.

Upper Voices Festival Workshop
Calling all Upper Voice singers and ensembles - join Friends of the Vox for our innovative and collaborative festival in the heart of London at St Peter’s Eaton Square. Led by Charles Béquignon-MacDougall and Emily Dickens, this Festival will be the perfect opportunity for singers and ensembles to develop their technique, work with our renowned workshop leaders on exciting repertoire by contemporary composers, and to collaborate with other upper voice singers and ensembles. The day will centre on Kim André Arnesen’s moving “Stabat Mater” and will also workshop the top entry from our Emerging Composers 2024 scheme. The day will culminate in an informal joint concert.

A Concert of Remembrance
Vox Anima Chamber Choir begins the season with a collaborative concert at St Augustine's Chapel at Tonbridge School, sharing the stage with the choir from Weald of Kent Grammar School, St Cecilia Wind Symphony and the 1839 Consort.
The Choir will be performing two movements of Dan Forrest's LUX: The Dawn from on High, before joining with the Weald Voices to sing Kim André Arnesen's Stabat Mater, with a new arrangement for wind ensemble by Jonathan Crowhurst. The concert programme also features In Paradisum by Ēriks Ešenvalds, performed by St Cecilia Wind Symphony and the 1839 Consort.
The concert begins at 7pm. Tickets priced £15 adults (£10 concessions) are available via the link below, or on the door (cash or card).

Come & Sing: Fauré Requiem
Join Hurst Green Singers and Vox Populi on Saturday 2 November 2024 at St Nicholas' Church in Sevenoaks for our "Come & Sing Fauré Requiem".

Places are £20.00 per person or £10.00 for students in full-time education. Scores are included in the cost.
All money raised from this event will go towards supporting the choirs in their joint Christmas Concert on Sunday 8 December 2024.
Please bring with you a pencil and your own refreshments (i.e. bottle of water and snack). For attendees travelling to the venue by car, there is a big car park behind the church with access via Rectory Lane.
