Conducting Workshop for Young Scholars

On 23 April 2023, Artistic Advisor, James Meaders led a conducting workshop for the the choral scholars at St Mary’s Church in West Malling, supported by Vox Anima Chamber Choir.

James had met with the 8 young musicians prior to the practical workshop, where he had explained the theory of conducting some basic guiding principles. For the majority of the young musicians this was their first foray into conducting, and the workshop gave them the opportunity to put the theory into practice in front of a responsive choir.
