Vox Populi joins forces with the VIAT Concert Choir & Invicta Grammar School for Coronation Concert

Kickstarting celebrations for the Coronation Weekend, Founder James Meader’s choir Vox Populi joined forces with choirs from VIAT academy and Invicta Grammar School for a fantastic concert at St Mary’s Church in West Malling.

Over 100 singers took to the stage, and, as with all our concerts, the music of contemporary composers took centre stage, featuring Philip Stopford’s “Missa Deus Nobiscum” and 2 movements from Ian Assersohn’s “Ionian Mass”. We were especially delighted that Philip Stopford joined us in the audience.

Some members of Vox Populi will be travelling to London in a few weeks to perform Stopford’s “Missa Deus Nobiscum” at Southwark Cathedral as part of Vox Anima London’s 2023 season.
