Summer with The Mancunium Consort

At Friends of the Vox we are passionate about supporting young professional musicians, and so we were delighted when we heard that The Mancunium Consort would be touring to Kent this August.

Described as “one of the rising stars of the Choral Music Scene” by world renowned ensemble The Gesualdo Six, they were formed in January 2023 by Harry Mobbs (originally from Tonbridge, Kent) and Joseph Taylor (newly appointed tenor in Apollo5).

Join them for what will be a beautiful programme showcasing choral music from across the ages, from Tallis and Monteverdi, to celebrated contemporary composers, including the group’s first commissioned work by Bristol-based composer Richard Barnard.
