Superstar Vicky completes her Ultramarathon!
A huge congratulations to Vox Anima Chamber Choir soprano 2 Vicky Soames for conquering the ultimate challenge at the weekend: an Ultramarathon - totalling 50km! We are completely in awe of this incredible achievement.
Not only this, but Vicky has also surpassed her fundraising target for Friends of the Vox - raising over £600 so far - which is absolutely incredible.
Vicky said of the race:
"You will be pleased to hear that I finished the race and I'm very happy that I managed to almost hit my target time. I missed it by 12s, and I am blaming the toilet queue at check point 2 for that! It was a brilliantly organised race and the weather was fabulous, if a little warm. I think I maybe even enjoyed some of it!"
